I've had a few updates recently and since these have been installed I've noticed the RED LED isnt showing when the phone is getting charged and no GREEN LED when fully charged. Also no LEDs are getting shown when I'm getting any notifications. WebMar 12, 2024 · If your battery is charging, it will have a lightning bolt symbol over the battery icon. If you don’t see the icon in the menu bar, it may be turned off. Open up the System Preferences app and click on the “Energy Saver” icon shaped like a lightbulb. At the bottom should be “Show battery status in menu bar.”. Make sure this is checked.

The charger LED turns off if I plug the connector into the charging port. I opened the Dell and disconnect the DC Jack from the motherboard. (of course after disconnecting the battery first).
