Your ineveitably going to have a little ridge in the middle of the wood where the wood didnt line up exactly perfect along the fence when you flip the board end for end. Leave yourself some wood to take off with a planer and get down to a 16th. I think you can be more accurate with a planer than a table saw. I can cut veneer out of almost any wood easily with a table saw. I’d like to see someone try it with a hand saw. Let’s face it, there will always be purists in any hobby.
